Thursday mornings in the past, were filled with this faint anticipation and a skip of heartbeat because of CDA classes.  but today, it was filled with this throbbing sensation, maybe because i won't be at centrepoint today, but harbourfront, and i don't know how the crowd will be like and stuff. but its ok, i know i'll pull through just fine. :) wish me luck people. :D a strong unyielding heart that just can't get you outta the system.

My valentine. [15 Feb 2007|11:00pm] [ mood | high ] V-day was spent lazing around on the tanjong beach at sentosa with bape, and just enjoying the sea breeze, and of course, the company. :) hitting the beach [a place that both like to spend time in] with someone you're crazy about, is something that's truly wonderful. and the night was spent with the angels at club momo. had a blast dancing the night away and laughing at the things we said. so here are the pictures.. enjoy people. =D ( love's in the air )

i can't sleep. [13 Feb 2007|12:50am] [ mood | emo momo ] this is my first time in god-knows-how-long when i experience insomnia.  sometimes, an accidental press of the keypad on your phone can send hearts reeling, breaking, or worse, stopping. just experienced this kind of accidents today, and it leaves this bitter taste in your mouth and gut. shit, feeling so emo momo now.  it's one of those nights, you just want to wriggle into your comfortable pjs and pull the comforter up to your neck, curl into a ball, and... just open the floodgates. my happy nothings. [11 Feb 2007|10:30pm] [ mood | satisfied ] i was thinking of a snazzy name for this entry. guess my creative juices need some squeezing.  work was so pleasant with two aunties. oops. i mean two middle-aged ladies. hmm. still sounds wrong. i mean, two boodiful ladies (they have really begg boobies) and time seems to pass by really fast. not to mention that there's always nice munchies in the shop, and auntie evelyn bakes really nice pineapple tarts and cakes! and today another staff bought curry puffs and egg tarts from this old shop that she has patronises for years already. Wow, i was so so touched by their efforts to make the shop a much better place by tidying up the storeroom, the paperwork they filed to make everything much neater and more systematic, and the kind of thoughtfulness they have for everyone. :) But the best part was when i came back from the toilet, to find bape's friends in the shop, and there he appears from behind the shelves. hee. it was really an unexpected surprise my dear. =D makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside while i work the hours away til 6pm.  after which, i made my way to jurong west for a reunion dinner at grandma's place. so many of my lil cousins have changed so bloody much! the wonders of puberty. the cousins who are about my lil bro's age. i'm so looking forward to another round of teasing during the first day of cny. wahahaha. ahhh. life's finally looking up. my boy's happy now, and i'm satisfied with everything that i'm blessed with... :) but i still miss you lah. hee.

burnt baby [04 Feb 2007|11:06pm] [ mood | high ] Surf and Sweat 2007 was a blast. i'm so glad i was a part of the whole event. =D and not forgetting the angels. I love the chit-chats under the sun, i love the teasings and whatnots, i love the lil lil things that crack us up, and best of all, i love each and every one of them. :) Pics in the next entry, i promise. :)  alright, commercial break's over. time to get back to chunks of PR. one more day of studying and bye bye exams! hello freedom! rugby lives forever, baby. Yeah balls. [31 Jan 2007|11:15pm] [ mood | loved ] I watched the match between Singapore and Thailand live on ESPN, ok, make that i caught snippets of the match. My attention was on the new drama serial unfolding on Star World, 'Heroes'. I like this kind of sci-fi shows la. Its about this group of normal-looking human beings like you and i who possessed super powers like the ability to foresee the future, ability to hear what people are thinking, and this cheerleader who can regenerate herself, so no matter how badly injured she was, she will be able to recover in spilt seconds.  Anyway, i was talking about the match right. Yeah balls. I was alerted by my father who shouted, "REFEREE KAYU!" Then when i came out of my mom's bedroom, i saw the Thai coach shaking his head and i could see that the spectators were in a mayhem, with all the Boos and whatnots. Then i saw the Thai team crowding around each other and give one last whoosh before the penalty kick, which the Lions scored. Then i watched the replay, and indeed, it was the referee's fault. The singapore player fell on his own, and the Thai player did not pull his shirt to cause the fall. I don't blame the refree however, for making a hasty decision and flashed the yellow card. The crowd, the players, everyone is watching, and even the ex-midfielder of the Lions said that the referee was in a very tight situation, and it was difficult to see who was at fault, but he did add that the penalty given was too harsh. Well, go figure. I can understand why the Thais were so agitated, tho from a sportsman's point of view, they lack a certain level of sportsmanship, walking out of the field just like that. But imagine coming to a foreign land to secure that championship, but to be given an unfair penalty, so to them, it would not be a fair game to determine a winner.  On another note, i think ESPN is fantastic. They even invited the ex-captain of the Thai team and the ex-midfielder of Lion team to give their opinions, so there would be a balanced view on the game. I was momentarily stunned at the sportscaster (ok, i don't know the term used to call a news anchor who reports sports instead.) tho. She looked like a tranny!!!! Reminded me of KATE siak! Omg. 0.0 Alright, enough about balls.  Guess what the bf did ytd? ( Sweet Surprise ) (8)

i love mommy! [27 Jan 2007|03:28pm] [ mood | happy ] Shopping day with mommy dearest today. It was a really fruitful day, i must say. Bought nice lingerie from Pierre Cardin and a pair of DMK shoes that's bloody comfortable, and a shirt for daddy. Heh, i guess thats what wives do for their husbands, buy clothes for their man cos they know the man will never go shopping like the girls. I know there are exceptions, but my daddy's the typical ones.  Ok, i'm digressing. Back to my shopping. I don't know why, but this year's chi new yr shopping is kinda different for me. I want everything new! I want new clothes, new shoes, new lingerie, and even new bedsheets! better yet if i have new skin. :P and i bought all the new yr clothes at Bugis, a new green floral dress and a one-piece dress thats polo-shirt material. Oh ya! and a new bikini that costs 28 bucks only! :D I just need the top that i saw the other day at Bugis as well, some nice accessories, and i'm done. Oh ya, not forgetting the spring cleaning after the exams. So it was some alone time with mummy just now. And i updated her about what's going on with my life, and my plans after the exams. She was teasing me about the buffet that i want to have with bape, and we had a good laugh about it. And she told me about daddy, and how the catering business is going, and how my lil bro is growing up so fast and all. I guess when all of us are caught up with our own stuff, we will treasure these kind of heart-to-heart chats more. :)) and the best thing? she didn't nag at me when we were shopping, and even helped me to choose the shoes!  alright, time to get back to my favourite subject- AM. and i mean it, y'all. :) Study hard, everyone!  love xoxo, sandydandy

Dress day! [20 Jan 2007|01:30am] [ mood | chipper ] mJust my description of today- Dresses, Drag dolls, D ancient, D retro, D modern and Dons of fun. [its intentional to start all with D.] Ahh. What should i say? CDA's done and swept under the carpet. Although i got quite bad feedback, but well, at least i've tried my best, no point dwelling on it. :) And EOF presentation's done. Yeahs. Now's left EOF written test and MPP. The past few nights had been horrendous lah, all the photo-shoppings and free-handings. But i picked up new skills along the way. Anyway, back to today. I had sooooo much fun posing, smiling, laughing, emo-ing, laughing again, and just feel the lethargy from the nights slowing leaving me. :D   ( Dress Day ) (3)

3 more days [16 Jan 2007|12:33am] [ mood | working ] this is a mindless entry. =X Its a battle between mental and physical strength. It's not that i haven't stayed up late before, but nowadays, its even harder to stay up cos of all the meetings in the morning, and the work done during the day as well.  I slept at 2am ytd night, and woke up at about 6.50. Goodness, i feel half-dead and look half-dead. this period reminds me strongly of the pol-ite season man. just that this time, it's more intense, given the back-to-back deadlines.  Just 3 more days. After all this, i'm going to utilize my voucher of a facial. like, seriously. (4)
